A LAUNCESTON town councillor is taking on a mighty challenge in the name of charity.
On Thursday, May 9, Cllr Davey Green will begin his first day of the 2024 Brathay 10in10.
The challenge asks participants to run the equivalent of a marathon, every day for ten days around Lake Windermere whilst fundraising for Brathay Trust.
On day 10, the 10in10ers will be joined by those entering the annual Brathay Windermere Marathon and all this can be seen each morning on Davey's YouTube channel; flyboday.
So far Davey has raised nearly £3,000 for the cause.
