Max Faulkner of Bude will be taking part in the Motorcycle Manx Grand Prix on August, 22 and 23. It is a dream come true for Max and his racing partner Dan Millard who have spent three years road

racing at tracks around the country to qualify for this major event on the world's hardest and most difficult of road racing circuits. Max will be riding a Kawasaki ZXR400 capable of 150 mph. A week of practice on the Island will allow them to

compete in both the 'Newcomers' and 'Ultra Lightweight' races, each of four laps of the 38 mile racing circuit. Max is also using the races to raise money through sponsorship for the British Heart Foundation, a charity he has supported by

organising bike rides and other events, for many years. Sponsor forms are at North Coast Motorcycles of Bude who, along with the Bay View Inn at Widemouth Bay have generously supported Max. It is an expensive undertaking and Max would welcome any commercial help with

financing this thrilling event.
