Music filled the air last weekend when a country dance club held their traditional reunion dance.
Marhamchurch Scottish Country Dance Club held a reunion weekend in Bude on October 6 to 8, the first weekend for three years, celebrating 30 years of the club, and 25 years of the weekends.
A spokesperson said: “It was well attended by old friends and new, and everyone enjoyed themselves, especially as the weather was so wonderful.”
The weekend was organised by Dawn and Les Burden, who provided enjoyable dance programmes for Friday and Saturday nights. Music was, as usual, provided by Sandy Nixon and his Scottish dance band, who were very much appreciated.
The spokesperson added: “The club would like to thank everyone who helped make the weekend a success, and look forward to our next one in October 2024.”
The club meets on Wednesday nights at Bude Methodist Hall 7.30pm to 10pm. New members will be welcomed. Partners are not required.
