TWO fire appliances from Launceston and one fire appliance from Okehampton attended a fire at Leat Road, Lifton, just after 1.30pm last Thursday.

Upon arrival this was found to be a large shed fire. The shed contained several gas cylinders and petrol cans.

Crews used three hosereel jets and three breathing apparatus to extinguish fire.

The shed was severely damaged by fire. A fire brigade spokesman said the cause of fire was believed to be accidental.
