A BUDE lady is back doing what she does best and raising money for charity, after her two year battle with cancer.

When Eileen Luxton was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2012, her world was turned upside down and she was forced to put her fundraising work for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) on hold. She had been raising money for the charity for almost ten years after setting up the Bude Wyvern Friends Group.

As a result, Eileen's friends came together and carried on the group. Over the past year they have raised a resounding £3,000, by holding car-boot sales, selling Christmas cards, jams and holding tombolas.
