Camelford Top Town Memory Café got out the cake to mark the occasion of a decade running the group, which is held twice a month.
They were joined at the event by both of the founders of the decade-long memory group, Jane Sleeman and Jane Moore, who came along to share in the occasion.
Their presence was something that it is reported to have brought delight, with a spokesperson for the Top Town Camelford Memory Cafe saying: “Everyone was delighted to see them and to express gratitude for their role in starting the much-loved Café.
“A special cake, made by Kirsty, added to the celebration, along with balloons and lively entertainment from the wonderful “Goldcoast,” who had everyone dancing and singing along.”
The celebrations of the milestone anniversary for the group was proven to be a memorable afternoon, complete with a visit from Mabel the dog and a raffle featuring some fabulous prizes.
The group said it now look forward to the next ten years under the guidance of the current committee and volunteers, offering thanks to them and to all the wonderful guests who have supported the café over the years.
A spokesperson for the group added: “On Wednesday, November 12, Camelford Top Town Memory Café celebrated their 10th birthday party with a fabulous celebration cake and singing from Gold Coast.
“We were also pleased to welcome Tintagel Mark Master Masons as they very kindly brought along a very generous donation to the Café.
“Memory Cafes are held every second and fourth Wednesday at Camelford Clease Hall. New members are very welcome.
