The Lions Club of Holsworthy has continued its financial support of the local area with a cheque presentation to a local sheltered housing supplier.
The funding will be put towards a proposed new summer house.
House manager Jan Cottle of Abbeyfield Holsworthy Society was presented with a cheque recently for £150 from Lyn Fursdon president of Holsworthy & District Lions Club.
Densham Court provides sheltered housing for the over 55’s with a low level of support provided.
They currently have 13 residents.
Jan said: “It is also very enjoyable when people from the local community just pop in for coffee and a chat.”
She added: “The residents, trustees and staff team would like to say thank you to Holsworthy & District Lions Club for their kind Donation of £150 which will be put into their funds towards their proposed new summer house.”
