CELEBRATING ten years this summer, Leopallooza will be unlocking the field gates and lighting up the Cornish landscape once more from July 29-31.
Voted one of the ‘Best Boutique Festivals’ by The Guardian for two years running, friends alike will be partying, chilling and rocking out.
The multi award-winning Leopallooza festival remains the most credible and exciting music event in the South West.
In 2014 it won the UK Festival Award for Best Grassroots Festival.
100% independent, fairly-priced and all the while retaining core values which have helped shape and focus the direction of the festival since the very first event over ten years ago, Leopallooza is proud to have garnered and nurtured a significant, passionate following from its attendees over the years.
Hidden amongst the fields and woodlands of North Cornwall (and just a short drive from some of the best beaches in the UK) this 6,500 capacity event has been created around a passionate audience, featuring a ‘Later with Jools’ style set-up of handcrafted stages and bars.
Leopallooza has made international music news headlines, attracted globally famous musicians to both play and to enjoy the festival, and continues to introduce thousands of people to some of the best new music in the world.
It’s the same small team of friends who work year round on Leopallooza, and have done for the past ten years. That friendship has influenced every level and corner of the festival; they are festival fans putting on a festival, and this informs key decisions about the event, be it the quality of line-up, the cleanliness of the facilities or the friendliness and courtesy of security staff.
The festival will play home to hand crafted stages and bars where an array of new talent, mixed with established musical stars, will be ready to entertain crowds over the weekend. Crystal Fighters, and Kodaline will be headlining with DJ sets from Mylo, Little Dragon and DJ YODA.
There will be a host of exciting activities; choose to get your blades on for the roller disco and cool down on the Slip ‘n’ Slide or watch with aghast as world class professional mountain bike riders take on the track.
On Saturday evening Leopallooza fans will join the Samba Band as it leads a procession through the festival celebrating all things Rio.
Families can enjoy the festival vibe with Leopallooza crèche and theatre from Other Brothers and wander through the festival to discover clowns, acrobatics and jugglers in the Swamp Circus.
