There was a large and appreciative audience at St Martin's United Reform Church, Bude, recently for the 25th anniversary concert of the Lyric Singers.

The choir was in good voice as, under their conductor Pat Miller and accompanied by Joan Trengove, they presented a varied programme which included sacred and secular music ranging from Mozart's 'Ave Verum,' to 'Negro Spirituals' and songs from the shows.
