Brewery bids to extend hours
A brewery giant has submitted an application to Cornwall Council seeking to amend the licence of one of the pubs under its ownership.
St Austell Brewery Company Ltd has submitted the application concerning its premises at the Masons Arms located at 9 Market Place, Camelford, Cornwall, PL32 9PB.
It is proposing to vary the licence to extend the scale of alcohol and regulated entertainment to extend the hours it is permitted to do so.
If approved it will allow it to sell alcohol and provided regulated entertainment from 12am until 11pm as well as adding late night refreshment on Mondays to Sundays between 11pm and 1am the following morning, extend opening hours until 2am the following morning and to remove conditions covered under separate legislation or is no longer required.
It added that for all other licensable activities, its hours and conditions were to remain as they are at present.
The deadline to make representations relating to this application is June 18.

Business bids for licence
A BUSINESS located near Bodmin has given notice that it wishes to be granted a premises licence.
Fine and Cornish Limited, located at 2a Coldrenick Farm Offices, Helland, Bodmin, PL30 4QE is seeking a premises licence in order to authorise the licensable activity of sale and the distribution of alcohol by retail for consumption off of the premises.
The maximum proposed hours and days of operation will be on Monday to Sundays between 8am and 10pm.
The deadline for making representations to Cornwall Council relating to the application is June 23.
