A WOMAN from York who was rescued by RNLI lifeguards on Polzeath beach last summer after nearly drowning has walked approximately 40 miles from Bude to Polzeath to raise money for the lifesaving charity.

Isabella Denyer completed the hike on the afternoon of June 19, after setting off on the Saturday, and met with lifeguards at the finish. She hopes to raise more than £600 for the RNLI.

Isabella was inspired to fund raise for the RNLI after she was saved by lifeguards on Polzeath last summer.
