WALKERS taking part in the Great South West Walk completed the Crackington Haven to Boscastle stretch at the weekend.

To celebrate the South West Coast Path Association's 40th anniversary a group are walking the whole 630- mile long path as a series of 56 sponsored walks, each guided by a local expert.

Shelley and Geoff Barratt of Orchard Lodge at Boscastle, were sponsors of the Crackington to Boscastle leg and did their bit to support walkers on Saturday. They handed out bags of snacks and wished them good luck as they climbed the highest point of the Cornish coast path.

Artist Dave Crocker, who's capturing the whole trail in his paintings, was also there to get new views on canvas.
