WORK from the Swanskin Printmakers has been on display at Bude Castle this week.

Artists Sophie Fordham, Karen Howse, Helen Murgatroyd, Maddy Meaden, Jacqui Harris, Gabrielle Goodchild, Faith Chevannes, and Nicola Johnson have been exhibiting their work in the Willoughby Gallery.

Within the range of artwork is a unifying theme — the artists use the ancient craft of printmaking within their work, sometimes in fresh and surprising ways.

Swanskin was formed by Sophie Fordham to join the movement bringing the handmade print into contemporary art practice and to 'educate' the community of art lovers in Devon and Cornwall, and further afield, into the range of possibilities offered by printmaking made with, or without, an etching press.

The display runs until today (Thursday).
