BUDE have announced that Australian left-armer Brett Hunter will return to Crooklets for a second summer in 2024.

The Seasiders struggled for much of last season, finishing ninth in Division Two East of the Bond Timber Cornwall Cricket League, and were indebted to Hunter, whose 36 league wickets were only bettered by Holsworthy’s Herschelle Poggenpoel.

Hunter, who plays for High Wycombe CC in Perth, was effective with both the new ball and later in the innings, and was equally as popular off the field, fitting into life in the North Cornwall town.
