HOLSWORTHY Reserves bounced back from their opening day defeat on Saturday to thrash Hartland Closely 4-1 in the North Devon League Premier Division.

The Magpies were beaten 6-2 at last year's champions Boca Seniors, but produced the goods at Upcott Field to get their first victory since promotion.

The home scorers were Kieran Jollow (2), Joel Greening and Aidan Davis.
