BUDE RFC recently held their end of season awards night at The Bay View Inn with scrum-half Ollie Rowland the big winner.

The Seasiders’ first team were in Counties Two Cornwall following relegation the year before, and were under a new head coach in Sam Parker who has recently left the club.

After a mixed start, results improved, resulting in Bude finishing third in the table behind Helston and runaway winners Camborne Seconds, while they also reached Cornwall Clubs Cup final where they lost to Helston.

Bude enjoyed 15 wins and five defeats overall, while several youngsters from the previous year’s Colts stepped up and became key members of the starting line-up or squad.

The seconds finished fifth in Counties Three Cornwall with seven wins and seven losses, 34 points behind their Penzance and Newlyn counterparts who won the title.
