A MAN has been arrested following a car crash in Launceston.
At around 7.30pm on Monday, December 1, police were called to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Tavistock Road in Launceston.
The incident occurred near the slip road off the A30 and saw police and ambulances mobilised to attend the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police has expressed that as a result of the crash, a man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
A spokesperson from the force explained: “Police were notified at around 7.30pm last night to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Tavistock Road in Launceston.
“The driver, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and is custody.”
