THE 72nd Ashwater Agricultural Show was a success, presided over by the presidents for 2025, Mr Les and Mrs Tracy Rockett who officially opened the show and began a day of entertainment and agricultural fun all round.

A spokesperson for the shows organisers said: “A big thank you to Mr Bryan Lewens for the use of the Showground Field and Dave Butler and the Hemmings Family for the use of their field for car parking, also courtesy of Phil Yeo and Clifton and Charlotte Ford.

“There was an array of beautifully turned out stock in the cattle and sheep classes with an increase in entries this year, while our farmers of the future demonstrated their excellent skills in the young handler’s classes.”
