Christmas Light Committee selling 'a song for Bude'

THE Bude Christmas Light Committee (BCLC) is selling 'a song for Bude' to raise money for new lights.

BCLC have hijacked 'Ring out the Bells', a song written by Gary McCausland, a very talented local singer songwriter.

Nick Gleed chairman of BCLC said: "Gary wrote the song because there seems to be a dearth of good new Christmas songs and 'Ring out the Bells' has wide appeal and is a proper feel good song."

The song will be on sale at local shops for £2.50 and available to download from BCLC's new website http://www.lightupbude.co.uk">www.lightupbude.co.uk Half of the proceeds will go towards the lights.

Nick added: "We want to sell as many as possible. You can hear it on the website."
