IT marked the central point in the village’s social calendar and in the words of one of those who joined in the fun – it was an incredible success for St Teath.

Residents from the village and further afield gathered together for a week full of events with the carnival parade providing a fitting centrepiece to what was a fantastic event.

Kerry Kitto, one of the committee organisers said: “We have had the most amazixng week in the village and all the hard work has been worthwhile. I would like to thank everyone who came to support our carnival. When you see people coming from as far as Truro and Goonhavern to support us, we really are truly thankful.

“We’re now beginning plans for next years!”
