A BODMIN man has been found guilty of multiple sexual offences.

Bradley Fitzpatrick, 22, of Kinsman Estate, was found guilty after a five day hearing at Truro Crown Court.

He is set to be sentenced on September 24 with a pre-sentencing review ordered by HHJ Atkins, the honorary recorder of Truro who presided over the trial.

Mr Fitzpatrick was found guilty of nine out of ten charges that he had faced during the trial.

The charges he was found guilty of included three charges of rape, three charges of sexual assaults, two charges of sexual assault by penetration and one charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.

He was found not guilty of a charge of attempted rape, having been found guilty of the higher charge of rape.

Mr Fitzpatrick had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges he was found guilty of by the jury.

In a previous appearance at Truro Crown Court in February 2026, where he entered his not guilty pleas to raping a woman in June and July 2022 as well as causing a woman to engage in a non-penetrative activity and sexually assaulting her in November 2022 in addition to attempting to rape and sexually assault a woman in Bodmin in December 2021, he pleaded guilty to several other offences relating to indecent imagery.

The charges he had pleaded guilty to were making ten of the most serious Category A indecent videos of a child, 11 Category C images of a child and possessing an extreme pornographic image of a person performing an act of intercourse with an unknown animal.

A spokesperson for Truro Crown Court confirmed that Mr Fitzpatrick will be sentenced for the charges he was found guilty for on September 24.
