A section of road near Kilkhampton is set to be closed for up to a week to fix a water leak.
The road between Crimp and Stursdon Cross has been shut by South West Water to enable its team to fix a water leak.
A closure order under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation 1984 has been implemented, prohibiting the use by traffic over an area of highway being 'Road from the A39 between Crimp and Stursdon Cross to Morwenna Road, Morwenstow.
"The notice shall come in force on 27 June 2023 for a period of 21 days, however, it is expected that the works will be completed by 3 July 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
"It is necessary for the above restriction to come into force without delay because of works being executed on or near the road to repair leaking fitting."
