AN exhibition commemorating world war one was launched in Bude earlier this week.
Held at Bude Stratton Heritage Centre, the world war one centenary exhibition focuses on events and people from the area during the war years, 1914 to 1918.
Information and artefacts from the various parishes are on display, including the Roll of Honour book from St Michael's Church, postcards from the front line, a punishment book from Poughill School, medals, a German dress sword and portraits of some serving military.
For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
