A generous donation has been made to a children’s charity in memory of a Launceston lady.

Members of the Border Belles (Launceston friends group for CHSW) were delighted to be asked to attend Launceston Friday Night Bingo Club at Launceston Football Club on October 20.

Founders of the Bingo Club presented a cheque for £700 in memory of Hazel Hall who was a regular — £500 had been donated by the club with an extra £200 donated by her daughter Kathleen Dymond.

A spokesperson from Border Belles said: “CHSW is an amazing charity which provides hospice care and support for children who have short and precious lives, alongside their families in the South West Region.”
