POLICE have launched an investigation following a spate of graffiti in Launceston.
There was concern among residents after a series of buildings across the town were tagged with graffiti.
The words ‘Reform UK’ were sprayed in silver on walls at the multi storey car park on Westgate Street, on local business Launceston Fryers, on a wall of White Hart Hotel, by the Market House Arcade, on the wall opposite the JAG shop on High Street, on a wall of Crates Is High record shop, on the wall of Saddlers on Tower Street, and even on the office of local MP Ben Maguire.
The damage comes following the political party’s success in the local elections.
