A FIRE station is set to open its doors to the public later in August for its annual open day.

Fire crews at Holsworthy Fire Station, located on Well Park, Western Road will hold its open day between 11am and 5pm.

There will be lots of fun and events for all the family.

A spokesperson for Holsworthy Fire Station said: “On August 31 we have our Fire Station Open day, we are open to the public from 11am and 5pm.

“There will be a charity raffle, games, barbecue, refreshments, blaze the bear, home safety team, meet the crew and an road traffic collision demonstration on the day! It would be fantastic to see you all come down and support our open day.”
