THE team at Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society (HATS) have out-done themselves again as they prepare to bring more frivolity to the stage with this year’s pantomime ‘Treasure Island’.

Filled with song, dance and pirates — this is sure to be a treacherous voyage for any ‘land lubber’ who steps foot in the theatre.

A spokesperson said: “Ahoy there, me hearties!  All aboard for the adventure of a lifetime! Long John Silver and his fearsome crew may think that treasure is within their grasp, but they’ve reckoned without the ladies of the Smuggler’s Cove Women’s Institute…filled with mischief, custard pies, song, dance and laughter, this is a voyage into panto mayhem that you definitely do not want to miss!

The performances will be held in the Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society’s theatre on Bodmin Street, Holsworthy, on January 15 to 20 and January 22 to 27.

Doors open at 7pm for the 7.30pm performances and at 2pm for 2.30pm start for the Saturday matinee.

Tickets cost £10 (discounted to £8 on the first two shows) and are £8 for concessions. The box office opens every Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 2pm. Tickets are also available online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/holsworthytheatre
