THE little group of knitters at Bude Methodist Church changed their name earlier this year from ‘Knit and Natter’ to ‘Craft and Chatter’ to include everyone and every hobby.

For their first group project members decided to knit ‘lapel angels’, designed by Rev Joy Wilson, and it was agreed that each person attending the Christmas Eve carol service should receive one.

As Bude Methodist Church is always full for this service, knitters were busy, and with the marathon effort of ‘sewing up’ Horace and ‘head attaching’ Roseanne, 324 angels were ready for distribution.

From time to time the group will undertake a project, but the main object is to meet over coffee, have a laugh and enjoy a hobby.
