A Launceston town councillor has been proudly displaying his medal after completing his 253rd marathon.
Davey Green, councillor for Launceston South Ward, has been resting his muscles this week after his return from Amsterdam, where he proudly completed his 253rd marathon.
Cllr Green was one of 20,000 entrants from 131 countries taking part in the race.
Conditions were wet and cold, and although his time was slower than expected, Cllr Green is very happy having completed all 50 kilometres in five hours, 45 minutes and 24 seconds, finishing in position 15,713.
