THIS year's Bude Jazz Festival, which took place from August 27 to 30, was another joyous success for residents, visitors and the committee.
With 52 bands and more venues than last year, all were happy with how the week turned out, with about 1,000 attending and taking part.
For the first time, there was an opening ceremony on Bude Lower Wharf where the Mayor of Bude-Stratton Cllr Paula Dolphin officially kicked the festival off.
There were the usual street parades with, for once, warm and sunny weather greeting all who followed the Bude Jazz Parade Band.
