THREE roads in Launceston are set for resurfacing works in late September – with Cornwall Council warning motorists about a ban on stopping in the area.
Exeter Street, Southgate Street and Madford Lane in the town are set for resurfacing works between September 23 and October 7.
The works are set to take place overnight with the prohibitions on traffic being in force between 7pm and 6am, weekends included.
However, as part of this, Cornwall Council has confirmed that there will be a ban on stopping in the affected area – with any vehicle found contravening the prohibition potentially receiving a penalty charge notice (PCN) or being removed from the site. There are no exemptions for blue badge holders.

Pedestrian access will be maintained to properties in the affected area.
