DEVON and Cornwall Police have responded to a report of a suspected illegal rave just off the A395 near Camelford.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were attended the A395 in Camelford shortly before midnight following a report of a large number of cars turning off the carriageway towards woodlands.

"We received further information about a suspected illegal rave in the area.

"There is a road closure in place on the A395 and officers in the area to prevent others entering."

The police have added that further information will be provided in due course.
