STAFF, governors, children and parents from St Mark's Primary School, Morwenstow, are "absolutely delighted" to learn that they have been awarded another outstanding rating from Ofsted.

The 82 children are spread across three classes, with a purpose built pre-school also onsite. They had been delighted in 2010 to have received an outstanding judgement.

Despite increasingly rigorous standards, they have bucked the trend to gain the grade for a second time. In fact, the inspector commented that standards had even improved further since the last inspection and all four categories received the grade one standard.
