TRIBUTES have been paid to former James Bond star Sir Roger Moore, who died in Switzerland at the age of 89 after a short battle with cancer.
Sir Roger attended Launceston College after being evacuated during the Second World War.
In later life Sir Roger helped vulnerable children as a UNICEF ambassador. He was knighted in 1999 for his efforts.
