A NUMBER of people across the Post area reported hearing a ‘loud bang’ at around 12.15pm on February 10.
Confirming these reports, an RAF spokesperson told the Post: “The sonic boom heard in the Cornwall area today [February 10] was caused by RAF F-35 Lightning aircraft completing operational training inside the supersonic offshore range area, any inconvenience caused to local residents is regretted.”
