HOLSWORTHY made it seven points from a possible nine since transferring to the SWPL Premier West over the summer as they thrashed Callington Town 5-1 at Upcott Field last night.

Cally, who have started the season well themselves, actually led at the break through Kevin McCallion’s penalty, but were blown away by an inspired Magpies outfit in the second half.

An own goal from a corner restored parity, then goals from Gavin Carter and Lewis Haxell made it three.

Wing-back Tom Squire added a fourth before Jacob Nosworthy’s rocket rounded off the scoring.

Holsworthy visit title favourites Liskeard Athletic on Saturday (3pm).
