Away Match v St?Enodoc — Friday March 10

St?Enodoc 4.5

Bowood 3.5

BOWOOD made the short journey to near rivals St Enodoc only to be sent home with little joy after being beaten by just a point.

There was plenty of well behaved banter amongst old friends and some welcome well behaved weather to make the day even more enjoyable.

The nearest the pin contest for Bowood at the par 3, 5th hole was won by Chris Woolley while the Par 3 15th was won by St?Enodoc’s captain for the day, Des Kelly.

Daily Mail Foursomes (First Round) — Friday, March 10

LAST Friday saw the pairing of James Barton and Alan Creber take on their Bude counterparts at Launceston Golf Club.

On what was probably the nicest day of the week, Barton and Creber emerged victorious on the 17th hole.

IT WAS another wet and windy Tuesday

when the brave golfers of Launceston played an individual stableford.

The winner was John Rumbold, who just got the better of Derek Medland and Rodney?Duke.

There were only three twos on the day just to demonstrate the difficulty of the course.
