FORMER skipper Lloyd Duke is one of two changes to the Launceston starting XV as they visit promoted Weston-super-Mare tomorrow afternoon in Regional One South West (2.30pm).

Duke, who is just 10 appearances away from the magical 300, moves up from the bench and lines up at openside-flanker as Jed Griffin switches to No.8 in the absence of George Harris.

That is the only alteration to the pack that once again has captain Mitch Hawken and Charlie Short either side of hooker Archie Doidge, Devon Bennett-Murray and Dan Goldsmith in the engine room and in-form flanker Charlie Tummon on the blindside.

In the backs, Tom Sandercock starts at scrum-half with vice-captain George Hillson unavailable as he renews acquaintances with in-form fly-half James Tucker.

Tom Anderton gets another chance at full-back, Jack Easton and Billy Martin are in the centres with Ollie Bebbington and Sheldon Higgins on either flank.

Amongst the replacements, hooker Rory Mead is available again and comes straight in, while young back-rower Fin Cackett will provide another option.

The All Blacks have enjoyed a solid start under new head coach Steve Perry, winning three of their first five games and sit fourth in the table, seven adrift of leaders Trowbridge and within three of third-placed Exmouth who won 28-14 at Polson Bridge last Saturday.

Weston have one win to their name so far, but have a five-point buffer over second bottom Chew Valley. The Somerset outfit have the best scoring record in the bottom half, but have conceded the third most points in the division.

Launceston Castles should be back in action following last weekend’s postponement at Perranporth.

They have a perfect four wins from four so far in Counties Two Cornwall and start as favourites against promoted St Agnes at Polson Bridge (2.30pm).

From the team that was named last Saturday, there are five alterations.

Sam Snell is available again and starts ahead of Simon Burden which means Alex Bartlett switches across to tighthead-prop, while back five forwards Cian Baker and Andy Rowe aren’t available and replaced by lock Zander Zambuni and Finn Stiles. Fin Cackett is in the ones as the fit-again Dom Theobald lines up at No.8.

Behind the scrum, James Heale gets the nod over Lucas Cackett who is named alongside Burden, Rhys Hughes and Pete Bebbington on a strong bench.

The ladies are back in action on Sunday in Women’s Championship South West Two as they head to Berkshire to take on Henley Hawks on Sunday (1pm).
