Police investigate Sourton sheep theft

DEVON and Cornwall Police are investigating the theft of 25 sheep from farmland close to the A30 at Sourton, Okehampton.

The incident occurred between Friday, December 17, and Monday, December 20. The sheep are in lamb mule ewes and are marked with black paint on the right hand side in front of the rear leg.

The rural affairs team would advise all to ensure that the appropriate security is present and remain vigilant for suspicious activity. Crime prevention advice can be found on the Devon and Cornwall Police website at www.devon-cornwall.police.uk/advice/your-community/rural-crime
