Terry and Janet Mattin, of Bradworthy, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with family and friends at the Falcon Hotel in Bude on Saturday, March 21, with 83 guests, some from as far afield as Ireland.

The couple decided to make it a charity event and raised £800, which was equally divided between Devon Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation. The presentation of cheques took place on Wednesday, April 15.
