TOWN councillors will be holding a meeting in order to discuss the proposed introduction of charging at a Cornwall Council car park in Stratton.

Howell’s Bridge car park could be the subject to charges for parking under proposals unveiled by Cornwall Council as part of wide ranging proposals affecting car parks across the Duchy.

Bude-Stratton Town Council has said it wants to hear views from residents on the subject, with the Cornwall Council survey closing on February 4.

The deputy mayor, Cllr Viki Herbert-Coulson will be joined by Cllr Tom O’Sullivan for the event, which will be held between 11am and 12pm on Saturday, January 24 at the Kings Arms in Stratton.
