DESPITE the rainy evening last Thursday over 200 Year 11 students and staff from Budehaven Community School enjoyed their 2010 leavers prom at the Falcon Hotel.

The rainbow of beautiful dresses (and suits!) that swept up the red carpet combined with a mass of multi-coloured umbrellas creating quite a spectacle through the showers.

As usual the modes of transport used to access the prom provided some early evening entertainment with a red double decker bus and orange space hoppers stealing the show.

The night continued with a buffet dinner followed by chocolate fountain and disco.

Great fun was had by students and staff alike who danced the prom away until midnight.
