BUDE Bridge Club is a friendly club catering for all abilities and is always looking to welcome new members. It is based at the Parkhouse Centre in Bude.

Playing bridge is a fun way to relax and socialise while keeping your mind sharp! Perhaps you are a beginner, someone wanting to brush up old skills or maybe you have previously played duplicate bridge and are new to the area. Whatever your level, go along to the club’s beginners/improvers session on Wednesday afternoons or the Tuesday and Friday evening sessions for a more competitive game when EBU master points are awarded.

The club can help with finding partners and, with refreshments in the break, there are friendships waiting to be made. Tuition is available through periodic ‘taster’ sessions, lessons in small groups run by qualified instructors and at our Wednesday afternoon sessions hosted by some of the club’s more experienced players.

A spokesperson for the club said: “We are always pleased to support charities having recently contributed £180 of the £1,000 raised by bridge clubs in Cornwall for the Precious Lives Appeal. We also support Children in Need each year.”
