THE guests and carers at Bude Memory Cafe enjoyed their annual Christmas Party on Friday, December 16 with entertainment provided by the Bude Lifeboat singers Friggin' Riggin who sang a selection of traditional Cornish songs and Christmas carols.

There was an unexpected visit from Father Christmas, and around 30 guests and carers tucked into a buffet Christmas tea.

The Memory Café promotes the well-being of people with memory impairment and their carers by providing social and enjoyable activities in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Staffed entirely by volunteers the café is free to carers and the person they care for. The café will be open at the Parkhouse Centre on January 6 and 20 from 2pm to 4pm.
