THE wet weather leading up to Bude's Lifeboat Week didn't dampen the spirits of all involved in organising the event. It was set up as smoothly as ever and the charity table top sale that kicked off the week was extremely busy.

Fun was had by all, including the quizmasters Andy Cloke and Mark Palmer, at the annual lifeboat quiz night and over 100 children enjoyed the kiddies disco on Sunday, August 28, dancing to music provided by Disco in Kernow and hilarity provided by Stormy Stan and Disco Dog!
