PEOPLE wishing to offer their wares to the residents of Holsworthy are being invited to apply to its town council in order to take one of a limited number of spaces available at the event.

The annual Christmas market and switch on event, which will see the official switching on of the Holsworthy Christmas light display will take place during the evening of November 29.

The Christmas market take place between 4pm and 8pm on Holsworthy Square, which will be the focal point for the town’s festivities as it marks the start of the festive season with a bright and sparkling array of lighting and decorations.

Traders wishing to take part in the Christmas market will have the opportunity to showcase their goods to people shopping at the event in the build up to the big festive day.

Details of the exact festivities which will take place on the switch on event are yet to be confirmed by Holsworthy Town Council, but this year’s event follows on after a very successful event in 2024.

It saw the inclusion of stilt walkers, the opportunity for a thrilling ride on a bucking reindeer and of course, for the children, the chance to meet Santa ahead of the big day.

A spokesperson for Holsworthy Town Council said: “We are excited to invite stallholders to be part of our Christmas market and switch on event on November 29 in Holsworthy Square.

“There are limited spaces available, so don’t miss out on this festive opportunity to showcase your goods to holiday shoppers!

“The event time is from 4pm until 8pm with the location (of the event) at Holsworthy Square so book your stall now!
