THINGS are about to get a whole lot more frightening as Holsworthy prepares for a Hallowe’en spooktacular with ghoulishly good fun for all the family.

A volunteer led group which has been central to the community life and support in the town since the coronavirus pandemic, Holsworthy Mutual Aid has confirmed details of its upcoming Hallowe’en themed party.

The party’s organisers have billed the event as the biggest free family Hallowe’en party in the town, with the event’s listing promising an evening filled with food, games, and prizes.

It has also been announced that there will be an additional prize awarded to those winning the honour of having Holsworthy’s best and most spooktastic Hallowe’en themed costume.

It will be held at the Holsworthy Memorial Hall from 4.30pm until 7pm on Friday, October 31.

Cllr Jon Hutchings, the mayor of Holsworthy and a member of the group behind the operation of Holsworthy Mutual Aid, said: “The Holsworthy Mutual Aid's annual Halloween party is back! It will be held on Friday October 31, 2025 between 4.30pm and 7pm at Holsworthy Memorial Hall. Tickets are free and are available from The White Hart.”
