A late-night fire at an industrial building site in Launceston sent smoke billowing across the town.
Fire crews from Liskeard, Callington and Launceston Fire Stations were called at around 23:49 pm last night (June 21) to reports of an industrial fire at a location on St Thomas Road.
Upon arrival, the crews discovered that a number of vehicles were on fire in addition to an industrial unit.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "Four pumping appliances from Launceston, Callington, and Liskeard responded to this incident.
"On arrival a fire involving a number of vehicles and an industrial unit was discovered.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire."
