CHANGES have been made to bus timetables in the Bude and Camelford areas — Western Greyhound ceased services on November 2 and routes are being picked up by new companies, following a tender process.

The Camelford, St Breward, Bodmin and Wadebridge 561 Western Greyhound service has been replaced by Webbers Coaches' 251 service Monday to Saturday.

Residents of Camelford and St Breward had previously been able to visit Wadebridge for around two hours before the bus returned, but now the route allows no stop-over time to return the same day, and includes a delay in Bodmin for an hour on the outset.

St Tudy residents can alight at 9.10am, and will have three hours in the town before the bus returns.

The 561 has allowed residents of Camelford and St Breward three circuits to and from Bodmin, the new 251 visits once each way, giving just over two hours in Bodmin.

A full timetable is available from Webbers Coaches on 01208 74711.
