RESCUERS from the HM Coastguard team played their part in helping a casualty which had fallen at a location near Harbour Cove, Padstow.

The incident took place at around 9am on October 28.

A spokesperson for HM Coastguard Padstow said: “Tasking to a casualty that had slipped and fallen on the rocks near Harbour Cove, between Hawkers Cove and Tregirls Beach. The casualty had a suspected broken ankle and was unable to walk.

“The team located the casualty and provided medical assistance. The casualty was then moved on to a stretcher and carried to a friend’s vehicle for onward travel to Hospital.

“Thank you to the Padstow Harbour patrol boat for their assistance locating the casualty.”
